Our Story
From a single swatch to a global palette — Naisa Colour Co crafts vibrant, durable and sustainable color solutions that bring products to life while protecting people and planet.
Naisa Colour Co began as a simple obsession: how to make color that looks breathtaking in the laboratory and just as perfect on store shelves, under household light, and after dozens of washes. Founded in 1975 by A. M. Galaria (CEO) in Ahmedabad, the company grew out of a shared frustration with inconsistent color matches, long development cycles and the environmental cost of traditional colorants.
What started in a small workshop with a spectrophotometer and a stack of fabric swatches quickly became a mission: build a color house that blends precise science with thoughtful design and sustainable practice. Early projects involved bespoke color-matching for local textile designers and small-batch dyeing for artisan brands. Word traveled fast — clients loved the level of control, the fast turnaround, and the emphasis on safer chemical choices.
As demand grew, Naisa Colour Co invested in an in-house R&D lab, hired color scientists and textile technologists, and built pilot-scale production lines capable of translating lab recipes into reproducible production batches. Along the way, the company committed to minimizing waste, reducing VOCs and improving worker safety — not because it was a marketing strategy, but because the founders believed color should not come at the planet’s expense.
Today, Naisa Colour Co partners with fashion labels, paint manufacturers, product designers and industrial customers — providing everything from masterbatches for polymers to reactive dyes for technical textiles. But the core remains unchanged: obsessive attention to color accuracy, transparent processes and a belief that the best color stories are both beautiful and responsible.

Sustainability Journey
Our sustainability story is practical and incremental. We didn’t launch claiming perfection — we committed to measurable improvements.
- Cleaner chemistry: Prioritized low-VOC binders and safer auxiliaries in our dye range.
- Resource stewardship: Began water-reuse trials in our pilot facility and reduced dye bath waste through improved process controls.
- Transparency: We provide SDS and COA documentation with every shipment and offer guidance for regulatory compliance in target markets.
